Claydon Lake

Situated in the ground of Claydon House, Middle Claydon, Bucks. Calvert Angling Club lease the bottom lake which is accessed on the Middle Claydon to Botolph Claydon road approx 1 mile from Steeple Claydon.

The water is stocked with Tench, Bream, Carp, Roach, Rudd and Perch in May 2011 the water was restocked with 1035 mixed Common and Mirror Carp.

Fishing is only allowed between the hours of daylight, with keepnets not allowed between the hours of 11am to 5pm June to September inclusive apart from when fishing matches.

Boilies are may only be used in moderation at Claydon Lake and Itters Pit, Size 8, maximum hook to be used

Claydon Lake open from 1st June to 31st December, Closed January, open 1st February to 31st March.

Itter’s Pit

Situated on the old London Brickworks in the village of Calvert, accessible from the main road leading out of Calvert on the left hand side towards Charndon crossroads.

The water is predominantly stocked with Carp up to 29lbs & Pike up to 31lbs. Also holds Roach, Rudd and Perch.
